Purge Irrecoverable Nodes from the Control Plane

When a node is permanently lost and cannot be recovered, you can now purge it from the Replicated PV Mayastor control plane without requiring access to the underlying host. The purge operation removes the node's representation along with its associated resources, providing a clean, controlled path to recover from node, storage, or hardware failures.

Purge Offline Storage Pools Without Storage Access

Failed storage pools no longer need to linger in the control plane. You can now purge an irrecoverable Replicated PV Mayastor pool directly from the control plane without requiring access to the underlying storage device, with explicit confirmation flags to acknowledge volume and snapshot impact before proceeding.

Proactive DiskPool Health Monitoring and Failure Detection

Catch storage failures before they impact your workloads. DataCore Puls8 now continuously monitors DiskPools for disk I/O errors, device hot-removal events, and I/O stalls in real time, automatically updating pool states and alerts to help you identify unhealthy devices, understand workload impact, and prevent degraded pools from being selected for future storage operations.

Faster PVC Provisioning with Node-Deployment Mode

Eliminate helper pod overhead and reduce PVC binding latency with the new Node-Deployment Mode for Local PV Hostpath. The provisioner now runs as a DaemonSet, one instance per node, performing volume operations directly in-process without scheduling short-lived pods for each PVC operation.
